Although I finished Mockingjay, I didn’t start any book today. Mockingjay is a great book to read, but honestly, I think Catching Fire is a little more exciting to read. In Day 6 and Day 7, I’m target to finish 2 books which are The Archived by Victoria Schwab and The Humans by Matt Haig.
It’s already Day 4, I think I’m a little bit behind schedule. But you know what, I’m going to read as many as I can in the reminding three days of #boutofbooks 😀

I’m still reading Mockingjay in Day 3. I quite enjoy this book 3 of the Hunger Games Series but I would say that Catching Fire is better than Mockingjay. These two have a different theme though. Hopefully I will finish Mockingjay in Day 5 and start The Humans by Matt Haig, I’ve waited to read that so so long !!
Another great challenge during Bout of books 8.0 !
This time I’m going to make a list of 5-10 places I would love to visit and take a book which take place in that city or a book by an author who lives or is from there. Here we go !
My Book Road Trip:
Paris: Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
Australia: I am the Messenger by Markus Zusak
Japan: Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami
USA: On the Road by Jack Kerouac
New York: The Great Gatsby by F.Scott Fitzgerald
U.K. : The Humans by Matt Haig
Spain: Homage to Catalonia by George Orwell
Day 3 was not a good reading day. Still I manage to finish one book ( although it’s a short one :P).

I finished The Pearl by John Steinbeck in Day 3. There is a bit different from my first impression on this book. I thought this is a story about a man turn into devil because he became rich after he found the Pearl of the World, turn out it is not. But it is a great tale to read, it reflects some hiding nature of man in the story. The ending of the story is tragic.
It is the second challenge on Day 3 of Bout of Books 8.0. It is always the perfect time to do the challenge during the read-a-thon.
So, this challenge is host by Such a Novel Idea. The challenge require us to create a poem using the spines of the book. Here is my “Poem”, only if it makes any sense to you guys 😀
I am the Messenger To the Lighthouse.
Jane Eyre spit against the wind,
The Great Gatsby Watch me disappear.
Happy reading, guys ! Today’s challenge in Bout of Books read-a-thon is TBR Pile Mini Challenge hosted by Musings of a Bookship Girl. There are two questions in this challenge and I’m jumping right into it 🙂
1. Which 5 books are at the top of your TBR pile at this moment?
2. If I gave you a wad of cash and sent you into a bookshop right now, which 5 books would you buy to add to the stack?
Time is flying by Bout of Books read-a-thon, day 2 has ended. I didn’t read as much as I did in day one. But I did finished my first book in #boutofbooks and started two more books. I’m going to jump right into it 😀

I finished Catching Fire in Day 2. It is a phenomenal book, so exciting to read and a huge page turner. After I finished it, I start the third book in the series which is Mockingjay straight away. It is hard to suppress my curiosity to know what happen after the end of book 2. Also, at the end of the day, I started The Pearl by John Steinbeck. It is a short novel, only 91 pages in total. I love reading short novels, they are so quick to read but usually carry a huge behind meaning with it. So, really looking forward to finish this in day 3.
